Give Your Old Computer a Second Life
Guardian Tech Solutions LLC accepts unwanted laptops and desktop computers at no cost through our computer reuse and refurbishment program. Each device is evaluated for possible repair, upgrades, refurbishment, reuse, resale, or parts recovery for the repair of other computers. Equipment that cannot reasonably be reused is transferred to an appropriate downstream electronics processor.
What Happens to Your Computer?
1. Ownership Transfer & Initial Evaluation
The person surrendering the computer completes an ownership-transfer and data-erasure authorization. We document the device and evaluate its overall condition.
2. Secure Data Sanitization
Storage devices intended for reuse are securely sanitized using documented data-erasure procedures before a computer is refurbished or resold.
3. Repair & Upgrades
Reusable devices may be cleaned, repaired, tested, and upgraded with components such as SSD storage or additional RAM when appropriate.
4. Quality Testing
Hardware and software are tested to verify that refurbished equipment is functioning properly before it is offered for reuse or resale.
5. Reuse or Responsible Transfer
Usable equipment may be refurbished, reused, or resold. Equipment that cannot reasonably be reused is transferred to an appropriate downstream electronics processor.

• Working, slow, outdated, or repairable computers
• Computers with the storage drive removed
• Laptop chargers and standard power cables
• Docking stations
• Keyboards and mice
What We Do Not Accept
- • CRT/tube monitors or televisions
• Swollen, leaking, punctured, or damaged batteries
• Fire-damaged electronics
• Heavily contaminated electronics
• Large commercial quantities without prior approval
• Equipment the person does not own or have authorization to surrender
Guardian Tech Solutions LLC operates a computer reuse and refurbishment program. We are not a general-purpose electronics recycling or waste-disposal facility. Equipment acceptance is subject to condition, available storage capacity, and our current acceptance guidelines. Please contact us before bringing equipment to ensure we can accept your device. This is a free device surrender program. Guardian Tech Solutions LLC does not provide charitable or tax-deductible donation receipts.
